sarah's memorabilia blog: why is mustard so mad for

as planned, on saturday i went with my cousin to do her senior pictures. not as planned, we weren't able to shoot at the park of roses so went around downtown and stopped when we liked what we saw.

mostly we re-did the shots they had before, and i don't know how to say this without sounding cocky, but we did them with my skills and nicer camera.

it was a pretty long day, we had the baby and she mostly slept through it :) she almost always sleeps when we go out somewhere, which is awesome.

i started a photo journal, and for real this time. we were required to have one in photo class but i wasn't into taking notes or making sketches back then. everyone else had cute little notebooks and pens and i just thought it was silly. but now i've dedicated a notebook and a pencil to my photography journal and i am very glad i did :D

i don't want to post her pictures, i didn't ask how she felt about them being online ;)

brynn had just woken up and was fussing but my camera always gets her attention. also why are babies still cute when they're drooling? it is a mystery

on sunday morning i had my very first and hopefully very last experience with sleep paralysis. it was terrifying, and it wasn't even as scary as an experience as some people have said they have had. i woke up, like, in my brain, but my body was shut off. i got the chills and goosebumps, but instead of flushing over and going away, i had permanent goosebumps for a few minutes. i couldn't hardly get my eyes open, i could twitch them, though. i couldn't open my mouth, or make a sound. i wasn't having visual hallucinations, thank my lucky stars. i couldn't get my eyes open long enough to have any. but i did have a few creepy auditory ones. i thought i heard people whispering like they were in the room, like you know in tv shows when there's background chatter.

then when i came out of it, i messaged my brother noah and had him sleep at the foot of my bed for until tanner came home from work. dad doesn't believe it happened to me because he's very skeptical, which can be both bad and good. apparently having noah in my room half of the night isn't evidence enough. why would i randomly invite my smelly dweebling nerd brother to reduce the length of the bed, unless i was scared to death? it's not worth trying to defend this to dad though, he literally could not care less, probably. i love my dad but this is why i tell him like maybe two personal things a year.
