a particularly thrifty tuesday

i went thrift store shopping today with tanner and my mom, because tanner is short on jeans and pants are particularly expensive for his budget. unfortunately, tanner didn't get anything that fit right except for one tee shirt. and due to the unique nature of how thrift stores are run, there pretty much is no return policy. and even if there was we can't find the receipt. brynn slept through all of it except when we were checking out, she wanted to cry and get everyone's attention so they all come running over to coo at my baby crying. i don't mind, i don't dress her cute for nothing heh

i did my makeup for this occasion, because i haven't done my makeup in a while and i had a lot of time to get ready this morning :) i tried tight-lining my upper lash line, but it is very scary and tickly. i never put eyeliner on the lower waterline though because my eyes are already squinty enough. there is a bit of transfer though but it's ok.

but, i did make out with five new shirts and four new pairs of jeans. one of the pairs i bought was too small around the waist. i actually believe my bone structure is permanently changed since having brynn; my hip bones are too wide for a certain variety of size eight pants. i'm now wearing a size nine. if i ever break to size ten jeans i think i'm going to cry. we also got brynn a few things, including a super cute 6 month sweater dress with a little deer on it. i can not freaking wait for her to fit it omg

then we went to frisch's :) brynn was pretty chill, but she was hungry so we fed her while we waited on our food. then she needed a diaper change, so i went the bathroom with her, to find out there was no changing station. it's no wonder the employees were giving me funny looks while i was going in with her lol. i changed her on the sink counter with a little mat that came with my baby bag, then i wiped the area down. luckily no one came in and had to wash their hands because i literally took up the whole sink counter.

tomorrow i might be walking over to my friend's house, where she lives with her girlfriend i think. i was going to take brynn in her stroller but i'm not comfortable with that idea. it's a twenty minute walk and i don't know if it's practical. i'm glad i'm going to see her though, i haven't seen her since her graduation party two years ago. that is crazy omg i think i might cry when i hug her haha

last monday or sunday or saturday idk idr my aunt contacted me and told me she needs me this up coming saturday to do my cousin's graduation photos. i'm pretty stoked, but nervous. i just hope i don't forget anything, and that we'll have a good atmosphere. and that there are no technical difficulties. my cousin and i don't see each other as much as we used to, and now we're a little more grown up so what even is there to talk about? it's so weird how close we are, but an outsider couldn't tell.

that was my day. except for this one thing brynn did but i'm giving that it's own post ;)
